Hallowe'en Wanderings and Galileo Ponderings

This week started with Moppet and Squidge helping Gruff out with some work on his van...

...and Sprout and Squidge playing some Disney Infinity together.

Squidge and Gruff picked the apples from the little tree in our garden...

... and we got the Hallowe'en box out to see what costumes we had.

Moppet asked me to take her photo...

... and again...

... and again (and again and again)...

... and the boys did lots of playing in boxes :)

We had a trip to Bramshall Park with friends...

... and Moppet and I had a morning out together :) She chose juice and dried fruit and then proceeded merrily to eat my cake and drink my iced coffee.

Hallowe'en came round, so it was only right to drink spooky drinks out of skull goblets...

... and build pumpkins from Lego :)

Sprout and Squidge carved opposite sides of a pumpkin...

.. (Sprout's was a Creeper)..

... then we all got dressed up to go to a Hallowe'en party.

Squidge is still really interested in letters so we've been doing lots of alphabet-related things, interspersed between watching all the Jurassic Park films several times over.

Sprout has been asking lots of questions about how things work, most recently cameras, along with questions about physics (he was pondering what would happen if we dropped two objects of different weights out of the window), and questions about dinosaurs and comparisons with people. He's also been enjoying playing Blockheads on the iPad and Hexxit on the PC.
Moppet has been doing a lot of pointing at things that she wants us to name. Lots of noses. :)
Gruff's taking a few days off work next week, so we have lots of things planned that the kids have been wanting to do, so we have a quiet weekend in front of the fire planned beforehand!
