We went on a Foxfield Railway Santa Special today, and the Christmas fairy (we do a non-judgemental Christmas fairy as an alternative to Elf on the Shelf) made her first appearance of this year! Once Santa had been round the train and everyone had sung some carols, Sprout noticed the fairy sitting on his seat behind him, with candy canes for both of them (yes, that's a candy cane behind his ear!) I'll update every day between now and Christmas with her escapades :)
